Gary has more than 30 years of experience providing a complete range of financial and tax consulting to businesses and individuals. Gary is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP), which is a prestigious designation from the Institute of Certified Construction Financial Professionals (ICCFP), a not-for-profit Corporation established to promote the highest standards of construction financial management through the advanced credentialing of construction financial professionals.
Specialty Areas
Gary’s specialty area lies predominantly in the service, construction and distribution industries. Gary services construction clients that include general and specialty contractors and subcontractors. His service clients include professionals who support the construction industry as well as attorneys and other professionals.
He has advised and guided many clients through complex financing and business succession transactions. He has been instrumental in obtaining financing packages for existing and new business clients. Most recently, Gary assisted a newly formed Internet based service and retail product client for line of credit financing on a national basis. He also has extensive experience developing effective client profit enhancement strategies, and in performing due diligence reviews for lending institutions.
Education, Professional Development and Military Service
Gary graduated from Providence College Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting in 1965. In 1966, he received a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.
As a graduate from officer candidate school in the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1966, Gary served for three years in the Amphibious Service and was discharged honorably as a Lieutenant.
Community Service
Gary currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Fund of the Avon/Canton Rotary Club and The Avon/Canton Rotary Club, Inc. and serves as the treasurer of both of those organizations. In the past he has served as a Board member of the Farmington Valley YMCA and has coached Little League baseball.
